It’s such a primitive impulse, and people feel so strongly about it.
They plot and plan and lie awake at night trying to figure out how to make it happen.
Waiting for the moment they will get the satisfaction of setting their plans into motion.
Such a waste of time.
When really, it’s nothing they need to worry themselves about.
You see, if you’ve been done wrong, it is the job of the universe to settle scores.
That’s what the universe is here for.
Everybody knows it. It’s called karma.
It’s just that the universe will take its time and karma won’t be dished out anytime soon.
You can’t rush the universe. It plans the perfect comeuppance and delivers it at the precise moment.
So that by the time it’s delivered, you’ve forgotten what the to-do was all about.
That’s the reason karma is served cold. You’ve not supposed to gloat about it.
That’s in poor taste.
The Universe is trying to protect you from bad karma.
But if you’re hasty and impatient and decide to take matters in your own hands, well, that’s on you.
You’ll rack up your bad karma, and you’ll not even do half as good (or bad) a job at revenge as the Universe.
